About Us

What is a 'SYNERGIST'?

Our employees at CircleUp Education are called Synergists. This is because each new person adds their wisdom, experience, ideas, and perspectives into our workplace culture, making us stronger than we would be without them.

Synergist are constantly working together with other synergist, clients, and community members to learn, grow, and progress the work that we do. Collaboration and partnership are at the heart of being a synergist.  Synergist listen, assess, plan, contribute, and refine based on the information they obtain from deep partnerships with our clients.

  • A synergist infuses their perspectives, life experiences, ideas, and creativity into the work they do that forever enhances the organization that they work with.

Our competencies-based interviewing process is intended to help us minimize unconscious bias while also making sure we hire people who will thrive in our environment. We rigorously train our hiring managers and teams to recognize unconscious bias and we also give them the tools to interview on competencies we know people need to have to be successful in the various roles here. We do this because we know that diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences makes our teams stronger and helps us deliver more innovative products and better customer experiences. 

Part I. We ask our Training Synergist candidates to describe the type of projects they worked on, the scale of those projects, what collaboration was involved as well as the outcome. We ask our Administrative Synergist candidates to describe their previous duties, the types of responsibilities, and computer experience. We also want to know about your passions outside of work, especially related to giving back to your community. We always ask: why do you want to work for CircleUp?

Part II.
Many of our teams have detailed interview processes that allow us to gain a deeper understanding of your skillset. For example, if you're interviewing for Administrative Synergist you'll be asked to complete low to high-level admin tasks, or if you are interviewing for Training Synergist you may be asked to complete a client assessment. 


If you're selected, you will be scheduled for Part III of the final process and that is to interview with the Co-Founders of CircleUp Education.


If selected by Co-Founder unanimous decision a recruiter will reach out to you and walk you through the proposed details of the offer. With your verbal acceptance, your recruiter will route the official written offer through our system, and you will be able to review it and sign electronically via Pandadoc. 

At CircleUp Education, we conduct an ongoing compensation analysis to ensure we are market competitive when it comes to compensation packages offered at the time of hire and beyond. Because we are growing so quickly (both organically and through acquisitions), equal pay is a moving target, so we complete annual audits to makes sure everyone is being paid equitably. 


We want to take the guesswork out of your onboarding process! Your supervisor will be working with you to select your desired office equipment, hardware and software, and you'll be automatically enrolled in essential trainings for Day 1 and beyond. We'll even pair you up with POC Point of Contact to provide you with additional guidance, support, and coaching during your first 90 days at CircleUp. This, along with customized onboarding email journey that starts before you arrive and continues through your first year, will provide you with the information and resources you need to succeed.

An Administrative Synergist is a dynamic team member whose roles and responsibilities are to promote organizational stability, growth, and efficiency. CircleUp Education is rapidly growing and looking to add a multi-talented, driven, and thoughtful individual to our team! The Administrative Synergist adds refined skills, administrative support, organizational structure, patience, and creative ideas into our dynamic workplace culture. This person will enhance the community-focused work that
CircleUp Education’s team delivers to its diverse clients all over the country. 


The training Synergist is a passionate, flexible, curious, and driven trainer who cares deeply about equity, social justice and restoring our communities. This person builds intimate relationships with our clients and facilitates custom trainings that inspire and engage participants. The Training Synergist is great at client communications, excellent at project management, and shows deep pride in all the work that they do. The Training Synergist is able to train small and large groups in a captivating and
meaningful way, has amazing communication and dialogue skills, and knows how to navigate tough conversations.
