Description:
Restorative Circle Practices are deeply rooted in traditions that include having participants sit in a circle with a centerpiece in the middle while using a talking piece to regulate who is speaking and who is listening. Now that circles are being guided using online formats, it is more important than ever to innovate your practices to maintain the impact and experience that circles bring in this virtual environment. This training is the structural foundation you need in order to learn how to design and guide relationship building circles for adults and youth. Focusing on overcoming technology barriers with innovative solutions that are easy to use and help enhance your online circle experience.

- Frustration with converting parts of the circle into online formats that work
- Difficulty completing an entire circle within a specific time period
- Not knowing how to use a talking piece or centerpiece, two important circle tools, within an online format
- How to effectively use Zoom breakout rooms during a circle
