The DEI Policy & Systems Review Coaching and Consulting Service provides you with expert review and technical support to ensure that policies, practices, and systems are equitable, free of discrimination and effectively interrupting oppression.

The DEI Policy & System Review Coaching Includes:

  • Support looking at specific HR and procedural policies in order to review them for inequities

  • Create processes and strategies to address and respond to explicit discrimination and implicit discrimination

  • Assessment conversations to identify policies and practices that may be leading to unfair practices in hiring, firing, recruitment, retention, and discipline

  • Policy and systems for managers and directors on creating an inclusive workplace environment 

  • Strategies and systems on how to ensure staff that racism and discrimination will be addressed when it occurs

  • Building Processes to prevent and address DEI issues and de-escalate challenging situations

  • Support with how to communicate updates or addition to new DEI policies and systems to your team

  • Support with creating the mission and vision of DEI communities or task force

  • You want to ensure that your policies are not unintentionally benefiting some while disenfranchising others

  • ​You are forming a DEI team and want to make sure that they get support with creating their mission, vision, and first projects
  • Your organization may have policies to address explicit racism and discrimination, however, you and your team may struggle with policies on how to address unconscious and unintentional forms of racism.

  • Your HR team or directors may be creating DEI policy and need some support reviewing and editing language to make sure that it is not discriminatory and culturally sensitive and relevant.

Implementation Details & Timeline

The following is a list of task that is included when you purchase this Coaching:

  • Decide on how many coaching sessions you would like to purchase

    • Our recommendation is that people purchase a minimum of 3-5 sessions. You can purchase as little as 1, however, we recommend that you send us via email more information related to your needs prior to the meeting in order to maximize the time we spend with you.

  • Complete contract or PO

    • Our contracts team will work with you to expedite the contract and compliance process so we can start working together as soon as possible

    • We accept POs as well. We have our standard service agreement that we use or we can use your organization's if needed

  • Assign a Training Synergist to support you along your entire journey

    • You will be assigned a training synergist who will be your point person to ensure that the implementation of the coaching sessions happens smoothly. 

    • Time - Automatically happens the moment you reach out to us

  • Conduct a 30-minute industry & needs assessment

    • Our team will conduct a 30-minute assessment to customize the coaching/consulting meetings based on your organization's needs. We have specialized coaching tools that are perfect for municipalities, technology companies, K-12 schools, universities, medical institutions, and nonprofits

    • Time - 30-45 minutes

  • Bundling Coaching, Infrastructure, Assessment, or Consulting services with this Training?

    • Our team will help create a plan that outlines which services need to happen first and which milestones will be accomplished along the way

    • We will make sure to keep the planning of services simple and easy to follow

  • Finalize all logistics

    • Your training synergist will reach out to schedule  We use secure Zoom meetings, but can also use WebEx if needed.

    • Time - 30-40 minutes

  • Facilitate Coaching with customizations (1-hour sessions)

    • Your training synergist will facilitate the coaching session and take notes on key coaching topics and recommendations that were made during your session.

    • Time - 50 min - 1 hour depending on customizations and topics

    • We do offer longer sessions as well. You can also combine multiple coaching sessions into one longer session

  • Schedule an evaluation and next steps meeting

    • Your training synergist will provide you with new step recommendations after the end of your sessions

    • Time - 30-minute meeting after all of the coaching services are delivered

General Training Logistics

Here, you will find general Coaching logistics that may be customized: 

  • We coach individuals, cohorts, task forces, small groups, , managers & leadership, and departments

  • Coaching sessions are between 50 minutes and 1 hour long on average but can be customized to longer sessions. ​

  • We will send via email any of the follow-up documents that were included or mentioned in the coaching so participants can access them
